It was evening time in the common room. Winter has taken its toll on the outside and everything was covered in snow. The moon glimmered faintly through the clouds, even though it was seven o' clock. It was hardley seen through the window to the room that sat between the fireplace and a chair. On the chair laid a large albino Cobra, sound asleep. She preferred to sleep in her cobra form to keep others from interrupting her slumber since most preferred not to disturb a dangerous creature while it rested. It wasn't odd that she was asleep this early. Her body only needed a few hours of sleep a day and she preferred to be awake during the night and day. Evening seemed to be the most uneventful, so she chose this time to sleep. In front of the chair on the ground was a pile of books: How to Control Pyrokineses, Your friend, Venom and a Sword, and the standard school textbooks. These were the ones that looked untouched while the first two seemed well worn.
